I bought these after seeing the high praise given to the michelin rubber on the soles. Overall the shoe is way better constructed than any other skate shoe or work shoe I've owned. The rest of the shoe stayed intact long enough for me to wear the grip on the soles out. I've owned these for about a year and have worn them almost every day for skating and my warehouse job. They're comfortable and not too hot. They run a little small and the break in time is longer than most but is a worthwhile trade off for a shoe that doesn't immediately split in that spot near your toes like vans, cons, ect all do. Im disappointed it only took me a year to wear out the bottoms, cause the rest of the shoe is still solid and is perfectly broken in at this point. Brand new the grip is excellent, kept me glued to my board even with worn out grip tape and I could depend on them climbing at work.

5 stars in every category except for fit. I went half a size up per recommendation. I recommend a full size up if you don't have narrow toes.
My everyday shoe is the Barge LS in a size 9. I think I'll go for a size 10 Marana when this pair finally wears out.
If you comfortably fit in some narrow nikes, try these for sure.

They take a bit to break in but you can’t beat the durability. Photo is after 7 weeks of skating 3-4 times a week. I will definitely be getting another pair if these ever wear out.

The Marana Michelin in general is perfect; super comfortable, ridiculously durable, and the grip is unparalleled. But this colorway? Neither words nor pictures do it justice... Like all of em, though, they're squeaky for the first few minutes lol

Still the greatest shoes ever. They make the best Skate shoe obviously. But they also make the best driving shoe because of the flat bottoms, and they can slip on. They're great electric skateboard shoes too. I put over 2000 miles on my electric boards all while wearing Marana's. They make great kitchen shoes as well being non-slip! Love love love them! Please don't ever change!

Maranas have always been my go to for years but it makes me sad that they’re slowly getting rid of my favorite Logo. I know yall are trying to stick to the e design but please don’t stop using this one☝🏾
Had to replace an older, dark color of Marana's with these ones. They look good and feel great according to my daughter (in video).
The Marana is ruff & tuff. I absolutely appreciate Etnies making this shoe. You can’t get any other shoe that lasts so long. The brown color way is necessary to match the kit. Tons of respect to Etnies
