The Fader is the only shoe I’ve been able to find that doesn’t chafe my right pinky toe. I have wide-ish and short-ish feet, these fit perfectly. I can skate all day in these without second thought. Fits my insoles perfectly too. This is THE skate shoe for me. (pic shown is skated shoe, tongues added. camo colorway)

Nice shoes
I really like the fader but mine DID NOT come with the nice edge stitches into the tongue. Kinda bummed because it's one of my favorite parts of the shoe that separates it from the kingpin which has the big fat puffy tongue. I own them both, but really love that extra detail. I'm not really sure why I didn't receive the show that was pictures online.

It's not what it used to be.
The quality of the materials is not at all the same as before.
The whole thing feels very plastic to the touch.
The foam is much less thick and dense.
The insole is much less well fitted.
The shoe is much less flexible than before.
Even the laces have become very thin.
I am extremely disappointed.
I wore this model for over 15 years. In recent years, I tried something else, but I still have Etnies Fader in my closet. I regret ordering two pairs. This will probably be the last time.

Been wearing Faders so long Imy friends and family say it’s my “signature shoe”. When I saw they made a white pair I had to get them to wear on my wedding day! I added ribbon laces and pearls and gems to the E’s. I am so happy with how they turned out! Everyone I’ve shown these to says they are “so me”. Faders will forever and always be my signature shoe.
I absolutely love the contrast between the green details against the crisp white shoes. The Fader has been my go to shoes for years ! Comfortable and stylish ... the perfect combination !
These shoes were great fresh had great stick to the grip tape even with a used and abused skate board. And the color is great at masking the scratch marks from flip tricks.

Its been 14 days and i still havent got the shoes. Very slow shipping.
These are ready to skate pretty much out of the box, the sole is 300 nbs and is softer which adds to board feel on a cupsole shoe! That's pretty sick on it's own, Ventilation is perfect, weight is on spot, if coming from vulcanized shoes then these are the perfect transition shoes to cupsole shoes, they are also very stylish, they are better the the cheaper version like the Ollie and the watered down escapes, 100 % recommended
I've had faders previously that I wore for years until the sole wore out. This time my shoes arrived with a defect on the side and I have to wait for a replacement, or keep them as is for a tiny discount. Love the shoes, not a fan of the quality control this time!
These trainers are very comfortable and I am happy at the initial impressions that I have got from them. Hopefully they fulfill the requirements that I have of them… durability and longevity.
