BARGE LS

I use to wear these all the time as a kid. After getting back into skating I figured I’d get ones that I never had an issue with. But after not even a full day the inside seems immediately started ripping. And I haven’t even touched my board yet! Very disappointing

I use to skate this shoes all the time back in the day. I felt like they lasted super long. But this pair I just got lasted a day and the seems immediately started immediately started coming apart. I feel like for the shoe being almost $70 it should definitely last longer then a day.

This is my first pair of Etnies and suddenly I’m wearing them everyday. My other shoes and sneakers are collecting dust in my closet.

I love these shoes, I’ve been wearing the Etnies Barge LS at work and at home for over 10 years. I usually buy about 5 at a time and they last about 6 months each.
On my most recent purchase however, the sole on the pair of one of them started to come apart within the first week of wearing them. The rubber is peeling off and they are almost unwearable already. It’s as if they did not use enough glue or the bond on the rubber was done poorly. I’ve owned probably 20 pairs of these shoes, and this was the first time having an issue this bad. I still rate these 3 stars because I love these shoes and usually don’t have any issues, but if my rating was based only on this pair I would give it 1 star. They started falling apart within a week. I should return them and get a refund but hate the hassle.
Overall, they are great old school type of skate shoes and I hope they are never discontinued but I definitely got a faulty pair that snuck by the quality control.

Shoe started to come apart, so Etnies refunded me. Good shoe until it wasn't. Probably will give Etnies shoes another chance.
