I have been wearing Etnies for almost 20 years (ordering direct for 15 or so), and I've gone through maybe 10 pairs, the Jameson 2 Eco being the most recent. They're a nice looking shoe, not as durable as other models I've owned (I don't skate, but they showed significat wear and tearing where the outside toe meets the sole), and a little too slim for my feet, but fairly comfortable once broken in.
In general, I wish Etnies would release more colour/material options for models like the Callicut (my favourite shoe of all time) and the Fader (2nd favourite). I check the site regularly as I am always up for buying a new pair of Etnies when I see a model in a colour I like, but it's been a long time since that happened, so I've taken chances on models like the Jameson with mixed results. I wanted to order the Cresta in blue with gum sole, but size 11 never seemed to be available, and models being unavailable has been my typical experience with Etnies' store over the years. Anyway, please offer more colour/material options for the Callicut and Fader the way you do for the Kingpin (my least favourite Etnies shoe), Barge, and Jameson.
That said, thanks Etnies for making great shoes! If I have the choice, I'll never wear anthing else.
I have been wearing Lo-Cut II for 10yrs plus,in the last 3 or 4 yrs I find it more and more increasingly difficult to find any in my size, they always seem to sell out so quick,I wish there was a dedicated shop section for all of the old passed colours and textures where we could still have choice and get the 1s we want rather than having to settle for what's left, plz don't ever discontinue these shoes I'm a life time customer and have planted many trees.
Great look and feel. Got them as summer hang out shoes but I am condidering riding (Bmx) with them, as the they are way more steady than your regular slip on.
Feel good so far. Thin cupsole shoe that feel similar to dunks or the converse AS-1. I went a half size down because the toe box is pretty wide.
