Etnies have always topped the list as my favorite skate shoe, so naturally I was stoked to see that they were entering the MTB industry. This is hands down my favorite clipless shoe I’ve used and I’ve sampled my fair share. The cleat channel offers a consistent and clean interface between the pedal and sole, something that the likes of the Giro Chamber II doesn’t provide. The sole is plenty stiff for some long days on the bike or heavy hitting terrain, however, the toe is flexible enough for adventure rides or light trail work. The styling of the shoe is perfect. Only positive things to say about all of the Etnies MTB shoes that I’ve used so far!
